The “Committee of European Users of Sugar” (CIUS) is the representative association of the European sugar-using food and beverage industries, with its registered office in Brussels (Belgium),Avenue des Nerviens 9-31, 1040. CIUS is the data controller under Data Protection Regulations and is represented, for these purposes, by Ms Muriel Korter (privacy@cius.org).
CIUS is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Notice sets out how CIUS uses and protects any Personal Data that you give CIUS when you use this website. The information provided is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

How do we protect your Personal Data?
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information.
We use third party services, the IT service providers, to help maintain the security and performance of the CIUS website.
How long is your Personal Data retained?
The information collected from our website users will be retained by us for a maximum duration of 5 years.
